The Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of board of director of Merabi Organization Group (Effective July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019):

The Executive Committee is responsible for day-to-day oversight of the administrative and financial functions of MOG, subject to the powers of the Board of Directors granted under the MOG’s By-Laws and under New York & California Law. It is a yearly committee member and are elected by the Board for one-year terms at the annual organizational and regular meeting in July.

MoG’s purpose of executive committees has been to review major issues that organizations faced and make preliminary decisions for discussion and voting at the next full board meeting. Over time, MOG has made the executive committee a standing committee that meets shortly before the full board meeting and acts as a steering committee. The make-up of executive committees is as individual as the boards they represent.

There are a few executive committees at MOG, one of many committees the board may establish. The MOG’s board’s officers – president, vice president, treasurer and secretary make up the basic membership of any of our executive committee and are composed of senior-level executives and board officers.  Although the members of the executive committee hold the board’s leadership positions, the committee differs from the board in the scope of its authority and its ability to act independently
